AGNEW - Mrs. Catherine May Agnew, 70, 1401 3rd Ave., died at 7 a.m. Monday, March 26, in Swedish-American Hospital, after a long illness. Born Dec. 20, 1902 in Rockford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rose. Lived entire life in Rockford. Married to Frank C. Agnew in Rockford April 11, 1923. Member of Centennial United Methodist Church, and a charter member of the Winnebago County Blind Association.

Survivors include:
*Her husband, Frank
*Three daughters:
1.Mrs. Barry J. (Marian) Doyle;Ketchikan, Alaska
2. Mrs. Frances Svensson; New Orleans, La.
3. Mrs. James F. (Catherine) Matheson; Rockford
*Five grandchildren and one great-grandchild;

*A brother, Carleton Rose; Winnebago
*Three sisters:
1. Mrs. Arnold (Ethel) Nelson; Durand
2. Mrs. Harry (Doris) Pollard; Winnebago
3. Mrs. Wes (Lois) Brentner; Stillman Valley
*and many nieces and nephews. A daughter, Betty, predeceased her as did three brothers.

Services at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Fred C. Olson Mortuary, 1001 2nd Ave., with the Rev. William O. Risinger, pastor of Continental United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial in Willwood Burial Park.
