Mrs. Frances Naidl, 90, of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, died unexpectedly Sunday morning at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Krizek, with whom she had made her home eight years. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Reif Mills, the Rev. John Haen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Naidl was born Frances Hlavachek, Nov. 17, 1871, in the Town of Cato, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hlavachek. In 1892, she was married to John Naidl of Reedsville. The couple then settled on a farm in the town of Kossuth. She was a charter member of the Altar Society of St. Augustine Catholic Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frank Krizek of Rt. 1, Whitelaw and Mrs. Julius Hokenson, of Milwaukee; a son, John, of San Diego, Calif., 20 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death in 1915, a son, Joseph, in December, 1961; three brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.
