Mrs. Joseph Sperl, 44, was stricken with a heart attack while helping her husband harvest on their farm in the town of Kossuth east of Reifs Mills Wednesday and died within a short time.

The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 8:30 o'clock from the Husar funeral home at Kellnersville and at 9 o'clock at St. Augustine's church Reifs Mills. The Rev. Joseph Rauch will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Father Rauch will recite the rosary at the funeral home Friday evening at 8 o'clock. The body will lie in state there until the hour of services.

Mrs. Sperl, nee Agnes Stedl, was born Jan. 7, 1896, in the Town of Franklin, near Menchalville. She was married to Mr. Sperl in 1916 and since that time, they operated their farm in Kossuth.

Survivors are the widower, one son, Joseph, Jr., at home; her mother, Mrs. Catherine Stegl of Menchalville; six brothers, William Stegl of Antigo, George, Alex, Edwin and Frank, all of Menchalville, and Daniel of Kellnersville; and three sisters, Mrs. Irene Cisler of Reifs Mills, Mrs. Elsie Lakotas of Branch, and Mrs. Orval Hessel of Francis Creek.
