DEATH CLAIMS AGED KOSSUTH PIONEER, AGED 79
Peter Theisen, Father of Leo Theisen, this City, Passes Away


Peter Theisen, pioneer resident of Kossuth, for years engaged in farming, is dead at his home there at age of 79 years. Mr. Thiesen's death occurred yesterday, following an illness of several weeks.

Mr. Thiesen was born in Germany, March 27, 1838, and came to Manitowoc county at the age of 17 years and has since made his home here. Decedent is survived by his widow and eight children, twenty grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The children are Charles of Antigo, John of Rockwood, Anton of Branch, Mrs. M. Degenhardt of St. Louis, Mrs. D. McCormick of Sterling, Ill.; Lee, this city; Thomas, Reifs Mills and William of Milwaukee.

The funeral will be held Thursday morning from St. Augustine's church at Reifs Mills.
