(1886 - 1948)

Mrs. Andrew Tisler, 61, a native of the town of Franklin, died Tuesday night at her farm home about two miles east of Taus, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Friday at the Reedsville Cooperative funeral home and at 10 o'clock at the St. Augustine Catholic church at Reifs Mills, the Rev. Joseph Rauch officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Born Mary Sauer in Franklin in 1886, Mrs. Tisler was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Sauer. She was married to Mr. Tisler in 1909 and the couple has operated the Franklin farm since that time.

Surviving are the husband; three sons, Victor of Franklin, Edward of Manitowoc Rapids, and Daniel on the home farm; a brother Frank Sauer of Franklin; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Zahorik of Taus, Mrs. Thomas Kostechka of Franklin, and Mrs. Anna Hill of Manitowoc, and five grandchildren.

The body may be viewed at the Reedsville funeral home from Thursday noon until the time of services Friday morning. The rosary will be recited there Thursday evening.
