EMIL VRANEY DIES TODAY
Funeral For Pioneer of Branch To Be Held Monday


Emily Vraney, 61, who spent his entire life on the homestead farm two miles north of Branch, died this morning at the hospital, where he had been a patient for five weeks. He has been in poor health for three years.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from the home and at 9:30 o'clock from the St. Augustine's Church, Reif Mills. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr. Vraney was born in 1876 on the farm operated by his father Joseph. He married Miss Mary Manlick of Clarks Mills in 1919. Since the death of his father, he operated the farm.

Survivors are the widow; two brothers, Frank and Louis, city; and a sister, Caroline Vraney, Branch.

The body will be moved to the Vraney home on Route 5, Manitowoc, Saturday afternoon from the Pfeffer funeral home.

Emil Vraney, a well known Kossuth farmer and brother of Frank Vraney of this city was married Monday at Evanston, Ill., to Miss Mary Manlick, a former resident of this city but who for the past few years has made her home at Evanston.

Mr. and Mrs. Vraney will make their home on the farm in the Town of Kossuth.
