WORLD WAR VET DIES MONDAY AT SHEBOYGAN
Harvey J. Alfson, 44, native of Quarry, this county and an ex-service man, passed away yesterday at St. Nicholas hospital at Sheboygan after an illness dating back to the late war. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock from the home of his sister, Mrs. Mary Thompson at Valders. The services will be private. The remains may
be viewed tonight and Wednesday morning.
The deceased was born at Quarry in 1886. He was in Washington for some time and later served sixteen months with a machine gun battalion in the world war. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Charles Jordan of Ladysmith, three sisters, Mrs. Mary Thompson, Valders, Mrs. Albert Wrickson of Sheboygan and Mrs. Charles Hammon of Amherst.
