MABEL BERGE
Mrs. Andrew Berge, 86, formerly of Valders, died Thursday evening at Bethesda Home, Chicago.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. The Rev. Robert Onkka will officiate and burial will be in Valders West Cemetery.
Mrs. Berge, nee Mable(sic) Gilbertson, was born April 22, 1884, in the Town of Liberty, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Harry and Caroline Everson Gilbertson. She was married to Andrew Berge June 10, 1908, at Valders. Her husband preceded her in death in May of 1961.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Bernice) Busse of Sheboygan and Mrs. Andrew (Alice) Kosowski of Chicago; a brother, Clarence, of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Elmer M. Evenson, of Valders; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A son and a brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Christianson Funeral Home, Valders, after 4 p.m. Sunday until noon Monday and then at the church until the time of service.
