Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Reifs Mills. The Rev. John Haen will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Kostechka was born Oct. 25, 1894, in the Town of Franklin, son of the late Joseph and Anna Mrozek Kostechka. He married Emma Sauer Sept. 22, 1919, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Maple Grove. They farmed in the Town of Franklin and resided in the township all their lives. He was a former assessor and supervisor of the Town of Franklin, a member of the school board of the Franklin School District No. 13, a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Augustine Parish and treasurer of the church for 20 years. Survivors include his wife, a son Raymond, of Rt. 2, Cato; a daughter, Mrs. George Naidl, of Rt. 1, Whitelaw; a brother, Charles, of Cudahy; a sister, Mrs. Anna Kutil of Manitowoc; eight grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. A brother, Joseph, preceded him in death. Friends may call at Suer (sic) Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday until the time of service.
