Vestal Carlton, age 77 of Lowell, Arkansas and formerly of Newton County, Arkansas passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas.
Vestal was born in Shiloh, Arkansas on January 28, 1936 to Doy and Ader (Watson) Reynolds.
Vestal enjoyed dancing, gardening and taking care of her flowers, she loved helping people and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and the love of her life, Aldon Carlton, also preceding her in death are two brothers, Kennith and Delmer Reynolds.
Vestal is survived by two daughters, Sheila Carlton of Lowell, Arkansas and Lois Mason and husband Scot of Rogers, Arkansas; and a son, Don Dwight Carlton of Gadsden, Alabama; two brothers, John Reynolds of Elm Springs, Arkansas; Dewayne Reynolds of Hulbert, Oklahoma; three sisters, Velma Casey of Jasper, Arkansas; Vera Pearlie Bell of Bend, Oregon; Ruby Harris of Rogers, Arkansas. Also by her special friend and dance partner, Wayne King, of Pleasure Heights, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Benton County Memorial Park (3800 W. Walnut) in Rogers, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Rogers Free Baptist Church (900 S. Dixieland) in Rogers.
Burial services will be 3:00 pm, Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Shiloh Cemetery, Shiloh, Arkansas.
Vestal will be laid to rest beside her beloved Aldon. In death as in life, together.

I'm glad your life was a full one and your days of pain were short... just as you'd have liked it. ❤

If you could only see where I'm at now, you wouldn't cry for me. All of Heavens Angels met me when I arrived and I was met by Jesus with a loving embrace. I walked side by side with old friends and family alike. Don't cry for me because here there is no trace of sickness or sadness only His loving Grace. The beauty is beyond words and nothing I could say would compare. Don't cry for me because I am in a far better place, with streets of gold just like we were told. So please remember don't cry for me but rather rejoice for I can hear angels sing. Oh, how much peace their voices bring.

Vestal was born in Shiloh, Arkansas on January 28, 1936 to Doy and Ader (Watson) Reynolds.
Vestal enjoyed dancing, gardening and taking care of her flowers, she loved helping people and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and the love of her life, Aldon Carlton, also preceding her in death are two brothers, Kennith and Delmer Reynolds.
Vestal is survived by two daughters, Sheila Carlton of Lowell, Arkansas and Lois Mason and husband Scot of Rogers, Arkansas; and a son, Don Dwight Carlton of Gadsden, Alabama; two brothers, John Reynolds of Elm Springs, Arkansas; Dewayne Reynolds of Hulbert, Oklahoma; three sisters, Velma Casey of Jasper, Arkansas; Vera Pearlie Bell of Bend, Oregon; Ruby Harris of Rogers, Arkansas. Also by her special friend and dance partner, Wayne King, of Pleasure Heights, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Benton County Memorial Park (3800 W. Walnut) in Rogers, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Rogers Free Baptist Church (900 S. Dixieland) in Rogers.
Burial services will be 3:00 pm, Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Shiloh Cemetery, Shiloh, Arkansas.
Vestal will be laid to rest beside her beloved Aldon. In death as in life, together.

Vestal had a love for life that she shared with everyone she knew. To know her was to know her sense of fun and adventure, there was never a dull moment with her in the crowd. And you knew when she was present because her laughter was unique, like her. She held her ground and spoke her mind with all the honesty that she knew how to put forth. You never had to guess where you stood with this lady. She gave as good as she got and then some. You are loved and will be sorely missed.

When I get to the end of my life and my time on this earth is over, I hope I'm able to make one last good run, slide in sideways at the pearlie gates, look St Peter in the face and say, "Wow! What a ride!" .... this fits Vestal to a 'T', she wrung all the joy she could out of everything she did... If you could only see where I'm at now, you wouldn't cry for me. All of Heavens Angels met me when I arrived and I was met by Jesus with a loving embrace. I walked side by side with old friends and family alike. Don't cry for me because here there is no trace of sickness or sadness only His loving Grace.
