A stroke caused the death of Mrs. Martin Rohde, 63, at the Holy Family
hospital Wednesday afternoon at 4:30.
Mrs. Rohde, nee Anna Peaschek, was born September 8, 1880 in the town of
Newton, and came to Manitowoc three years ago.
She was married in 1901, and her husband survives. Besides the husband,
one daughter, Mrs. Earl Reinertson of Valders, a son, Julius, of Newton;
a sister, Mrs. Albert Deja of Two Rivers, and three brothers, Joseph and
John Peaschek of Two Rivers and Paul Peaschek of Manitowoc survive.
The Rev. Anthony Betlej will officiate at the requiem mass to be celebrated
in the St. Casimir Catholic church Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock. Short
services will be held at the Leschke funeral home at 8:30 a.m. The body may
be viewed at the funeral home after 7 o'clock tonight.
