ANNA ROHDE (d. 1965)

Mrs. Edward Rohde, 84, of Rt. 1, Newton, died Monday at home after a
short illness.
Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at Leschke-Bergner Funeral
Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Northeim.
The Rev. Robert Berg will officiate and burial will be in the church
cemetery.
Mrs. Rohde, nee Anna Siewert, was born Jan. 15, 1881, at Cleveland, daughter
of the late Lawrence and Antoinette Leschke Siewert. She was married to
Edward Rohde Nov. 25, 1908, at Newton. The couple operated a cheese factory.
She was a member of the Rosary Society.
Survivors are the husband, two daughters, Miss Felicia, at home and Mrs.
S.J. (Ruth) Andrews, of LaMesa, Calif., a son, Gerard, at home and a grandson,
First Lt. Andrew Andrews. Two sons, four brothers and two sisters preceded her
in death. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday where
the Rosary will be recited at 8:45 p.m.
