Julius Rohde, 62, formerly of 1914 Washington St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Leschke-Begner Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Newton, the Rev.
Robert Berg officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Rohde was born July 3, 1902, at Newton, son of the late Martin and Anna
Peaschek Rohde. He married Zita Gallagher Nov. 24, 1927, at St. Isidore
Catholic Church, Osman. His wife died Dec. 8, 1962. Mr. Rohde had been
employed 14 years by Manitowoc Portland Cemetn Co.
Surviving is a son, (private); two daughters, (private) and six grandchildren.
A sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday where the Rosary
will be recited at 8 p.m.
