Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, KS 913-856-7111. Graveside service will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, at Penwell Gabel Cemetery, Topeka, KS. Gary was born January 8, 1949 in Butler, MO to Buren Harper and Bonnie Lou (Hurt) Osborn. He graduated from Washington High School in KCKS and earned his BA in Business and Masters in Horticultural Therapy from K-State. He served in the US Navy during Vietnam.
Gary was the owner of a property management company, Milestone Management Services, Inc, in Topeka since 1989. He was a member of the Apartment Council of Topeka.
Gary was an avid K-State fan. He enjoyed watching his kids play ball, playing games, and he loved dogs, nature, and gardening. He played Santa for years at local schools. He will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father Buren Osborn and mother Bonnie Trapp, son Tanner Biswell Osborn and sister Kelly Osborn. Gary is survived by children Jennifer and husband Michael Nix of Gardner, Jud Osborn of Pecos, NM, Katy Jo Osborn of Manhattan, KS; sister Conny and husband John Hoskins of Olathe; grandchildren Zaya, Lily, Owen and Sean and ex-wife Julie Biswell of Topeka.
