Ralph Rohde, 46, of Rt. 1, Newton, died Sunday at Holy Family Hospital,
Manitowoc, of injuries incurred in a fall at his home Wednesday.
Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at Leschke and Bergner
Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Casimir Catholic
Church, Northeim, with the Rev. Adam Makurnas officiating. Burial will
be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Rohde was born Mar. 22, 1916, at Newton, son of Edward and Anna Siewert
Rohde. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, and was graduated
from the University of Wisconsin dairy course. He operated the Rohde Dairy
until that business was purchased by Sorge Dairy Co. in 1956. He was a member
of Manitowoc County Kennel Club and of the Pointing Dog Club of the county and
a member of the Holy Name Society of his church. He never married.
Among survivors are his parents; a brother, Gerard at home; two sisters, Miss
Felicia of Chicago and Mrs. (Col.) F.J. Andrews of El Cajon, Calif., and a
nephew.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30
o'clock this Monday evening.
