DOROTHY MAE (LORENZ) BENZINGER
Dorothy Mae (Lorenz) Benzinger, age 65, of Two Rivers, died early Friday morning, January 24, 1997, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 27, 1997, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Entombment will be in Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
Dorothy was born May 14, 19831, in the town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Emil and Laura Hickey Lorenz.
On May 11, 1957, she married Fred Benzinger at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. She was employed at Paragon Electric Company. Dorothy enjoyed traveling, gardening and visiting with family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, red; two sons, David Benzinger, Milwaukee, Dennis Benzinger, Kansas City, Mo.; one daughter, Gina of Milwaukee; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Elmer and Marion Lorenz, Two Rivers, Kenneth and Jane Lorenz, Francis Creek; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Bernice Herrmann, Francis Creek, Ruth Reinke, Manitowoc, Margie and George Antholz, Mosinee, Priscilla and Dan Cerminara, DePere; one sister-in-law, Nancy Lorenz, Two Rivers.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Friends may call at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church after 9:30 a.m. Monday until the time of service at 11 a.m. There will be no Sunday evening visitation. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
