Daughter of Charles and Theresa Geise, married Arthur Grall on June 28, 1939

Mrs. Arthur (Cora) Grall, age 86, of 11006 Hwy. 10, Whitelaw, died Sunday morning, Dec. 29, 2002 at her residence. Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003 at 10 a.m. at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville, and 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in Whitelaw. The Rev. Richard Heymen will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
The former Cora Giese was born Aug. 4, 1916, in the town of Maple Grove, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Charles and Theresa (Geiger) Giese. She attended the Kasson School and was a 1934 graduate of Brillion High School. She was a 1936 graduate of the Manitowoc County Normal Teacher's College. On June 28, 1939 Cora was married to Arthur Grall at St. Michael Catholic Church in Whitelaw. Over the years, Cora substitute taught at St. Michael Grade School and also taught CCD classes. She also worked for several years with her husband at Art's Standard Service in Whitelaw. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael Christian Mothers and served as president of the Christian Mothers in the past. Cora enjoyed gardening, caring for her home and her family.
Survivors include her husband: Art of Whitelaw; three sons and daughters-in-law: Russel "Buzz" and Sandra Grall; Tom and Doris Grall, all of Whitelaw; Stan and Mary Grall of Manitowoc; one daughter: Diane Grall Araus of Whitelaw; 10 grandchildren: Marcos Araus, Christina Araus, Shannon Grall, Justin Grall, Nathan Grall, Aaron Grall, Casey (Scott) Zipperer, Gina Grall, Noelle Grall, Taylor Grall; one great-grandchild: Cameron Carr; two sisters-in-law: Lorraine Giese of Brillion; Helen Verbrugghe of Wheaton, Ill.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive.
She was preceded in death by one grandson: Matthew Grall; one son-in-law: Alfredo Araus; two brothers: Earl Giese and Roman Giese; and one sister: Mary Froelich.
Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville, on Wednesday from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 until 10 a.m. The Rev. Heymen will pray the rosary at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
