Mrs. Frank Hastreiter(sic) To Be Buried On Thursday
Mrs. Frank Hastreiter, 67, died last night at the homestead,
Route 1, Cato.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the
home and at 9:30 a.m. from the St. Michael's Catholic church,
Whitelaw with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
The deceased, whose maiden name was Magdaline Heinzen, was
born in St. Nazianz. She was married at Whitelaw in 1904 to
Frank Hastreiter and they took up their home on a farm in
the town of Cato.
Survivors are the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Albert Zipperer,
Kewaunee; three sons, John, Rome City, Ind., Joseph and Leo,
Manitowoc Rapids; five brothers, Anton, Silver Lake, Peter,
Whitelaw, Jacob, Marshfield, Frank, St. Nazianz and Joseph,
Antigo; three sisters, Mrs. H.C. Olson, city, Mrs. Barbara
Birkholz, Milwaukee and Mrs. Ben Gehrig, St. Nazianz; and
nine grandchildren.
The body was removed to the home in Cato this afternoon from
the Pfeffer funeral home.
