Carroll spent his childhood in Morrisville and in his early 20s had moved to Kansas. He married Ruth M. McDonald on March 10, 1923 in Chicago. They later moved Ohio and then in the 1920s to California.
Carroll graduated from college and was very successful in real estate. He later was a lecturer.
Carroll and Ruth never had children, but were very well liked by their family. Carroll's sister, Lillian painted a portrait of him, and his nephew, Ian named his first son after him.
Carroll lived to be the age of 72 passing away Feb. 18, 1960 in San Diego, California.

Carroll Page Fisk, 72, a retired lecturer in psychology and general science, died yesterday in his home at 1628 Torrey Pines Rd., La Jolla.
A native of Vermont, Fisk lived in La Jolla for 17 years. He was a 1908 graduate of University of Kansas and played halfback on that institution's only undefeated football team in his senior year.
He beloved to Beta Theta Pi fraternity, La Jolla Presbyterian Church and La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club.
He leaves his wife Ruth McDonald Fisk and three sisters in the East.
A memorial service will be held at La Jolla Presbyterian Church at 11 am Monday. Internment will follow at Eternal Hills Cemetery, Oceanside. La Jolla Mortuary is handling arrangements.
