ROSE SITKAWITZ

Mrs. John Sitkawitz, 79, of 1143 S. 23rd St., Manitowoc, died early Saturday
morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a coronary attack.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Leschke-Bergner Funeral
Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr.
John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in St. Casimir Cemetery,
Northeim.
The former Rose Tomchek was born Sept. 1, 1880, in the Town of Centerville,
Manitowoc County daughter of the late Walter and Anna Bona Tomchek. She was
married to John Sitkawitz Feb. 13, 1900, at Northeim. Mrs. Sitkawitz was a
member of the Rosary Society of St. Casimir Church, Northeim.
Survivors include the husband, a son, Charles of Manitowoc; three daughters,
Mrs. Frank Orchekowski, Mrs. Benjamin Muchowski and Mrs. Elmer Peck of
Manitowoc; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary
will be recited at 8:15 p.m. Monday.
