Archie A. Alvord, 71, 244 Harrisville Road, died Tuesday [November 14] in the Dee Hospital after an extended illness.
Mr. Alvord was born Jan. 20, 1890, in Pleasant View, Utah, a son of Irvin T. and Sylvia Stone Alvord. He was married to Alice Bates on Dec. 7, 1931, in Farmington. He was a member of the LDS Church and had been a decorator.
Surviving are his widow, a brother and sister, Friend Alvord, Boise, Idaho, and Mrs. Mabel Silvara, California.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in the Larkin Chapel by Bishop Norman R. Farr.... Interment in North Ogden Cemetery.
