William H. Caudill
William Howard Caudill, 86, of Waynesburg Route 3 died Sunday at Fort Logan Hospital.
Born Feb. 6, 1902, in Letcher County, he was the son of the late Ison and Rebecca Caudill. He was a member of Little Pilgrim's Rock Old Regular Baptist Church. He taught school in Letcher County for 23 years and was a minister.
Survivors include his wife, Allie Combs Caudill; two sons, Everett Ison Caudill of Louisville and Billy Ray Caudill of Waynesburg; a daughter, Hildred Faye Breeding of Louisville, Nannie Bell Sesco of Pikeville, Ruby Lee York of Eubank, Rebba Mae Ray of Louisville and Mary Grace Sluder of Waynesburg; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Little Pilgrim's Rock Old Regular Baptist Church, Waynesburg, by Grant Tackett, Emmet Tackett and Charles Tackett. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation is after noon Tuesday at the church. Barnett and Demrow Funeral Home, Waynesburg, is in charge of arrangements.
