FRANCES URBANEC

Mrs. Ignatz Urbenec (sic), 64, of Rt. 1, Manitowoc, died Thursday
afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a short
illness.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei
Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Cashmir (sic)
Catholic Church, Nordtheim(sic), with the Rev. Adam Markunas officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was born Frances Manga March 13, 1897, at Vilina, Czechoslovakia,
daughter of the late Andrew and Agnes Manga. She was married to Ignatz
Urbanec Jan. 21, 1921, in Czechoslovakia and the couple came to Manitowoc
in 1927. She was a member of the Rosary Society and G.U.G. No. 13 of St.
Cashmir Church.
Surviving are one son, (private); one daughter (private; two sisters,
Mrs. Irene Habosky of Warren, Ohio, and Mrs. Hannah Chupan of Czech-
oslovakia and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and are asked
to use the Ninth Street entrance. The parish Rosary will be recited at
7:30 o'clock and the church Rosary Society will recite the Rosary at
8 o'clocck this Friday evening.
