Retired Refinery Worker, 85, Dies
A retired refinery worker, Daniel C. Cox, 85,of 828 North Second died Saturday at Good Samaritan Convalescent Home.
Born August 19, 1887 in Toronto, Kansas, he married Vina Bradshaw June 3, 1908. Mr. and Mrs. Cox moved to Ponca City about 10 years ago. Prior to that Cox had worked at the refinery Cleveland, Oklahoma for nearly 20 years.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the East Chapel of First Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Graham, pastor of the Second Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Anderson Funeral Service.
Survivors include his wife of the home; one daughter, Dorothy Ray, 826 North Second; three sons, Donald C., Cleveland, Albert E., Terlton, and Charles L., Shidler, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Cox was preceded in death by one son Chester and eight brothers and sisters.

Daniel was a retired refinery worker and died Saturday at the Good Samaritan Convalescent Home in Ponca City, Oklahoma.
Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
