Angie Scott Phifer, 41, Red Bay, Ala., died June 9, 2006, in Pontotoc County, Miss.
She was born in Red Bay, Ala. on March 20, 1965, to Archie Lee and Brenda Faye Wren Scott. She was employed by Midsouth Leasing Company and was a former employee of the Red Bay Hospital. Angie was a member of Community Center Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her mother; grandparents, Willie D. and Inez Wren and Archie and Rosie Scott; and special aunt, Louise Dillard.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 12, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Ala., with burial in Red Bay City Cemetery. Brother Dallas Culver and Brother Billy Burge will officiate. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Ala., is directing.
Survivors are her husband, Billy Phifer, of Red Bay, Ala.; two stepsons, Josh Phifer, of San Antonio, Texas, and Matt Phifer, of Red Bay, Ala.; father, Archie Lee Scott, of Red Bay; two sisters, Cynthia Ezzell and husband, Donnie, of Belmont, Miss., and Lisha Morrow, of Florence, Ala.; one brother, Thomas Scott and wife, Amee, of Belmont; nieces and nephews, Mitch Davis and wife, Marie, Bart Davis, Kelli Davis, Drew Davis, Ashley Morrow, Tyler Morrow, Shelby Scott and Nathan Scott; two great-nieces, Jade Walker and Gracie Davis; very special friends, Sonya Castleberry Brown and her son, Jonathan.
Honorary pallbearers are Phillip Cooper, Wayne Morrow, Jerry Lawson, Thomas Ingram, David Brock, James Herrington, Kevin Palmer, Burel Martin, Gene Thorn and Peanut Rhodes.
Pallbearers are Bart Davis, Drew Davis, Tyler Morrow, John Thomas Hampton, Jimmy Hester and Larry Sanders.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Sunday, June 11, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Ala.
