CONRAD CHARLES DAELLENBACH

Conrad Charles Daellenbach, age 93, of 2306 N. 34th St., Sheboygan, died at his home on Friday afternoon, July 4, 2003.

Conrad was born in the Township of Mayville and grew up in Abbotsford. He received a Masters Degree in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin. He was a band director at Lincoln High School in Manitowoc for many years. After his retirement, he had his own band instrument repair business.

Conrad's first wife, Rebecca, preceded him in death and he married the former Dorothy Kunze in June of 1990 in Manitowoc. Conrad was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Lakeshore Wind Ensemble, and a member of First United Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Roberta (Jim) Mallmann of New Berlin, granddaughter, Rebecca (David) Ayer and great-granddaughter Caitlin Ayer and great-grandson Phillip Ayer, grandson, Eric (Delighla) Brehm; a daughter, Rosemary (Ballard) Champion of Huntsville, Alabama, and grandson Michael Champion; a son, Chuck (Mary Beth) Daellenbach of Toronto, Canada, and grandsons, Christian Daellenbach and Willis Daellenbach; four step-children, David (Karen) Bollwahn of Sheboygan and grandchildren Cora, Vania and Otto, Patricia (Kevin) Nyhuis of Sheboygan and grandchildren Lindsay, Codie and Sydney, Carol Moore of Terrell, Texas, and Robert (KC) Bollwahn of Waldorf, Maryland, and grandchildren Ruby, Kelly and Daniel.

A private family service was held for Conrad at the Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum in Manitowoc. Memorials may be directed to the VNA Hospice Care/Aurora Health Care.
