Obituary - Floy Verna (Fraze) Victor, 79, died Tuesday, March 23, 1993, at Rossevelt General Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Floy was born Febryary 21, 1914, at Longs, New Mexico, into the home of U.S. and Ruth Fraze and was a lifelong resident of Roosevelt County. She grew up in the Longs community and attended school at Longs and Causey, and graduated from Rogers in 1932.

When Floy was a teenager she attended a revival meeting at Longs Baptist Church and was the first of several to go forward and surrender her life to Christ. Flo's witnes was evident, and she was a great Christian influence to her famly and many friends through her sweet, quiet spirit and selfless lifestyle.

She married Kenneth Victor of Dora on May 18, 1937, in Clovis, NM. They started their home in the Dora Community, then moved to Portales for a short while, then to Causey where they ra a grocerty store for two and a half years. They moved from Causey to their present farm home in Longs community where they have made their home for the past 49 years. She was a member of the Longs Baptist Church. She was a faithful member there, where she worked in the nursery for many years. She loved attending her T.E. L. Sunday School Class. She was a homemaker and enjoyed oil painting and taking care of her many flowers and plants. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother , and enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren grow up.
