Eufelia "Faye" Montoya died Friday, Aug. 15, 2003. She was 80.

Mrs. Montoya was a lifetime resident of Flagstaff. She was born on July 23, 1923, to Ponciano [Policarpio] and Prescilla.

She was an active member of San Francisco de Asis Parish and volunteered numerous years for the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Mrs. Montoya enjoyed gardening, camping, walking, cooking, traveling, and raising her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Montoya is survived by her husband of 59 years, Paul; four children and their spouses, Bob and Linda, Ernie and Kathy, Jerry and Diane, Veronica and Henry Oritz; sisters Ortencia Lucero, Helen and Alice Jaramillo; brothers Paul and Oscar Jaramillo; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Holy rosary was said Monday at St. Pius Church. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. today , also at the church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, and a reception will follow at the church.

The family requests donations be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society in lieu of flowers. Arrangements are by Norvel Owens Mortuary.
