THERESA ANN RIESTERER
(1951 - 2005)

Theresa Ann Riesterer, age 53, a resident of Manitowoc Health Care Center, died early Tuesday morning, March 15, 2005, at the center.

Theresa was born July 22, 1951 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Gries) Riesterer. She was a member of the Special Olympics and loved music, dancing and animals. Theresa also enjoyed spending time with her many friends and family.

Survivors include three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Sister Joann Riesterer, Milwaukee; LaVerne and Jerry Fitzgerald, Manitowoc; Judy and Ron Schnell, Valders; three brothers and three sisters-in-law: Gerald and Cynthia Riesterer, Plymouth; Eugene and Beverlee Riesterer, St. Nazianz; Joe and Diane Resterer, Kiel; one sister-in-law: Helen Riesterer, Kiel. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Riesterer.

Private family services will be held at St. Gregory's Catholic Church in St. Nazianz. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Gregory Coulthard with burial at the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Manitowoc Health Care Center Angels Association or the Special Olympics.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and residents of Manitowoc Heath Care Center for the care and compassion shown toward Theresa and her family.

The Christianson and Deja Funeral Home in Valders is assisting the Riesterer family with funeral arrangements.
