Mrs. Mary F. Hester Dies at Fairview
Mrs. Mary F. Hester died suddenly yesterday afternoon (September 20, 1922) about 4:20 o’clock at the Fairview Sanatorium, at which place she has been residing for the past year. Dissolution was due to complications. The funeral announcements will be made later.
Mary F. Nelson was born in Will County, on May 20, 1863. She was married to George Hester in October, 1890. After her marriage, the couple moved to a farm near Colfax where they lived for many years.
Her husband and one daughter preceded her in death, the former dying about twelve years ago, and the daughter passing away about twenty years ago. She is survived by one daughter, Kate A. Grending of Patoka; and one son, R.M. Hester of Pendleton, Oregon; one sister, Mrs. D.M. White of Chicago.
