Albert G. De Feo, age 71, of 1314 North 10th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday, October 8, 1991 at 9:30 a.m. at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church.
He was born October 26, 1919 at Brooklyn, New York, son of the late Genero and Catherine (née Pecoraro) De Feo. He grew up in Brooklyn and was educated there, graduating from Brooklyn College and then attending and graduating from the Hospital School of Anesthesiology in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
He was married to Dorothy C. Biancardi. He and his wife moved to Manitowoc in 1965 where he worked for Manitowoc Memorial Hospital as Department head of Anesthesia until his retirement in 1982. He served in The United States Army during World War II in the medical corps. He was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church, the V.F.W. Post No. 6459 of Manitowoc, American Legion Post No. 88 of Manitowoc, The American Heart Association, American Army during World War II, in the medical corps. He was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church, the V.F.W. Post No. 659 of Manitowoc, American Legion Post No. 88 of Manitowoc, the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and the Citizens Disability Committee for Manitowoc.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Linda De Feo of LaCrosse, Wis.; one daughter, Dianne De Feo of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Friends may call at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday with a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. said by Deacon Ken Nelesen. Memorials will be appreciated to the Two Rivers Community Hospital, Cardiac Rehab.
