Mildred Dreger, 81, of the Manitowoc Health Care Center, formerly of Rt. 4, Chilton, passed away on Monday, June 10, 1991, at the health care center following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Collins, with the Rev. Arnold Ruddat. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum.
She was born October 22, 1909, in the town of Rockland, daughter of the late William and Clara Sonabend Matznick. She was married to Gerhardt Dreger on July 27, 1927, in Collins.
She farmed with her husband in the town of Rockland her entire life. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Collins.
Survivors include one son, Gordon Dreger of Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law, Synona Doutre of Manitowoc, Mildred Matzhnick of Rt. 4, Chilton; five nieces; two nephews and one aunt.
She was preceded in death by her husband July 24, 1987, a daughter in December, 1972, one sister and one brother.
Friends may call at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Collins, on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of services. The Wieting Funeral Home, Reedsville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
