FRANCIS JOSEPH DRESANG

Francis Joseph Dresang, age 61, of 4601 Cty, Hwy. G., died Tuesday, March 9, 1993, at the Manitowoc Health Care Center. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 11, 1993, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville. The Revs. Nicholas Johannes and John Neuser will officiate with entombment in the Knollwood Mausoleum.

He was born August 19, 1931, in Freedom, son of the late Joseph and Johanna Steffens Dresang.

He married Monica Schuh August 22, 1959, in Brillion. He owned and operated Dresang Bar in Grimms. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville, the Knights of Columbus, and the AmVet Post No. 1032 of Reedsville.

Survivors include his wife, Monica; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Michael Ott, Debra and Geoffrey Weinreis, all of Reedsville; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Steven and Charlene Dresang, Daniel and Karen Dresang, all of Manitowoc, Kenneth and special friend Mary JO, Reifs Mills, Brian and special friend Gina Mleziva, Madison; eight grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and Theodore Giese, Hilbert, Sister Clara Schuh, Manitowoc, Regina Fischer, Patricia Schuh, Helen and Richard Fischer, Sebastian and Anna Schuh, George and Dori Schub, all of Brillion, Richard and Joyce Schuh, Kellnersville, Norbert and Carol Schuh, Reedsville, Edwin and Rose Marie Schuh, Maribel.

He was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Edna and Nick Binsfeld, two brothers-in-law, Anthony Schuh and Glenmore Fischer.

Friends may all at St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville from 4-9 p.m. today,Wednesday, and on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Church Wieting Funeral Home, Reedsville, assisted the family with arrangements.
