Rose Dworak, age 97, of 3720 Parkway Blvd., Two Rivers, formerly of 4920 Sunset Road, died Friday evening, May 27, 2005 at the Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at the Deja & Martin Funeral Home, 18th and Washington St. Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Douglas Sleger, one of Jehovah's Witnesses, with entombment to follow in Knollwood Mausoleum, State Highway 310, Manitowoc.

Rose was born May 15, 1908, in Kewaunee, a daughter of the late Stephen and Emma (née Pelnar) Swejkar.

On Sept. 12, 1929, she married Ambrose Dworak in Kewaunee. He preceded her in death June 4, 1984. Together, the couple farmed in the Kewaunee/Manitowoc area for 34 years.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Jeanice Schwarten of Two Rivers, Marjorie and Douglas Sleger, Two Rivers, Joan and Robert Orlebeck, Monterey, Calif.; one daughter-in-law, Sharon Dworak, Madison; and a special friend, June Fencl, Two Rivers. She is further survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and by two sisters-in-law, Frances Swejkar, Two Rivers, and Agnes Swejkar, Champaign, Ill.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Eugene Dworak; a son-in-law, Irving Schwarten; three brothers and one sister.

Memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2517 45th St., Two Rivers, Wisconsin 54241.
