William Paul Everhart
MEBANE – William Paul Everhart, 66, of 110 N. Oakland Dr., Mebane died Monday, February 11, 2013 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC.
Mr. Everhart was born in Davidson County, NC. He worked as a Field Service Engineer for Perkin-Elmer Corporation for 20 years before retiring. He was a member of the Mebane Presbyterian Church. He served his country in the US Army from 1968 -1970.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine P. Everhart of the home; daughter, Carrie Everhart Schuessler (Aaron) of Flagstaff, Arizona; son, William David Everhart (Jennifer) of Durham, NC; grandchildren Maddox Schuessler, Evan Schuessler and Audrey Everhart; sisters, Yvonne Dobey (Rex) of Houston, TX, Nora Smith (David) of Cobb, GA and Frankie Hedrick (Buddy) of Lexington, NC.
He was preceded in death by parents, Willie Ralph and Harriet Conner Everhart and brother, Joel Everhart.
A graveside service will be conducted by Rev. D. Jeffrey Smith at Mebane Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 14. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday evening and at other times at the residence.
