Lawrence Vincent Mascarenaz 1957 ~ 2005 Lawrence Vincent Mascarenaz, age 47, died on March 12, 2005 in Salt Lake City after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on March 21, 1957 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ernest W. Mascarenaz and Tomasita Lujan. He loved the outdoors; hiking in the Uintahs and fishing the Weber River were his favorite pastimes. His family was his life. He is survived by his children, Sarah, Christopher and Jeffrey Mascarenaz, Ricky Lawrence Garcia; two grandchildren; five sisters, Olive Campos, Susan (Andy) Nelson, Eleanor (Bert) Bennett, Tina Rose, Ramona Calder; two brothers, Candido (Karen), Marty (Jolene) Mascarenaz. Preceded in death by both parents. The family wishes to express their thanks to Martina for her loving care and kindness she gave Lawrence throughout his illness. There will be a memorial service, Saturday, March 19th, 12:00 noon, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 450 E. 2100 So. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in the name of Sarah Mascarenaz. Funeral directors, Redwood Memorial Mortuary.
