NORBERT H. EHLENBECK

Norbert H. Ehlenbeck, age 79, died Monday April 15, 2002 at the Calumet Medical Center in Chilton.

He was born September 6, 1922 son of the late Emil & Mary Richart Ehlenbeck. He attended St. Anna School. On June 21, 1944 he married Laynilda "Nellie" Schmitz in Marytown. Norbert worked for the former Leverenz Shoe Factory and later at the Arps Corporation (a division of Chromaloy) where he was a foreman and later a Superintendent. He retired in 1980. He was a former member of the St. Anna Fire Department and later retired from the New Holstein Volunteer Fire Department. Norbert was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein, the Catholic Knights, Outdoors Sportsman Club and the Brothertown Fishing Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Funeral Mass will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, April 18, 2002 at Holy Rosary Catholic church in New Holstein. The Rev. Frank Weber, Pastor, will officiate.

Friends may call at the Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein on Thursday from 4-6:30 P.M. when brief family rites will be held. Entombment will be in the Knollwood Mausoleum in the Town of Kossuth in Manitowoc County. Sippel Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
