ROGER C. FAKEN
Roger C. Faken, 57, of Branch River Road, Branch, Wis., died Friday afternoon,
June 6, at St. Joseph hospital, Marshfield.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at
Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo J. Schmitt will officiate
and entombment will take place in Knollwood Masoleum.
Mr. Faken was born July 28, 1922 at Forestville, Wis., son of Charles and Hilda
Simon Faken. He married the former Colleen Shaw Oct. 29, 1942, at St. Mary
Catholic Chruch, Maplewood, Wis. Mr. Faken was manager of the former Osman
Dairy Co-op and was presently employed at the Golden Guernsey Dairy, Osman
Division. He was a member of the elks club and the Oshkosh power boat club.
Survivors include his wife, Colleen, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Faken of
Forestville, Wis.; four sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Mary, Douglas and
Carlye both of Osman, David and Jean of Branch, Daniel and Mary of Manitowoc;
two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Lorraine) Geitner of Sturgeon Bay, Mrs. Donald (Jeannetta)
Barta, of Rio Cree,- (sic) Creek; 11 grandchildren.
