She was a member of the Morgantown Madigan Avenue Church of Christ. She attended Glenville State College and WVU, where she received degrees in science and education. She taught junior high in Monongalia County, retiring in 1979. She was chairman of the Easter Seal Society of Monongalia County from 1952 to 1953.
She is survived by a son and spouse, Danny L. and Barbara Booth, of Huntersville, N.C.; a stepson, Paul E. Booth Jr., of Clarksburg; a brother, Edwin L. Core, of Collinsville, Conn.; two grandsons, Matthew Paul, of Nazareth, Pa., and Daniel Miguel, of Huntersville; and two step-grandsons, Charles Paul and Timothy Wayne, both of Clarksburg.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Eugene Booth, in 1965; and her second husband, Fred L. Lough, in 1989.
Friends may call at James Funeral Home, Follansbee, from 7-9 p.m. Saturday. Service will be at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11. Burial will follow in Wadestown Cemetery, Wadestown.
