Albert "Pete" Jackson passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Maryland. He then moved to Pensacola and worked for Gayfers before retiring.
Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jackson; parents, Pete and Mary Jackson and his brother Lorenzo "Jack" Jackson.
He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Penton; son, Paul Jackson; son, Steven Jackson; grandchildren, Heather Buehler, Fellishia Carlson, and Christina Moore; great-grandchildren, Tess, Gage, and Shawn; nephews, Tommy Jackson and Richard Jackson; and special cousin, Mary Elizabeth.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 9:00am until 10:00am at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South.
Funeral services will be at 10:00am, Friday, March 8, 2013 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Burial will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Covenant Hospice, 5041 North 12th Avenue, Pensacola, FL, 32504.
