She was born April 9, 1948 in West Monroe, La. to Benton and Jackie Olice Arrrant Frost, who preceded her in death.
On March 21, 1997 she married John B. Cole.
She was a homemaker, loved being with her family, loved to garden, cook, do crafts, go fishing and attend auctions.
She was raised in the First Assembly of God Church in West Monroe, La.
Survivors include her husband, John B. Cole; three sons, Vernon L. Redmond, Jr., of Lebanon; James Redmond, of Garland, Texas, and Tracy Howlett, of Lebanon; two daughters, Lisa Knight and Precious Blankenship and her husband, Brad, all of Lebanon; two stepdaughters, Brenda Owen, of Lebanon and Donnesia Porter and her husband, Donald, of Midwest City, Okla.; 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and other relatives.
Funeral services for Wanda Sue Cole will be held at 2 p.m.
Friday, Jan. 4, 2012 at Shadel's Colonial Chapel with David
Douglas officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel's Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Friday until service time
at 2 p.m. at Shadel's Colonial Chapel.
A memorial has been established to the Lebanon Humane Society
