Roberta A. Page, 89, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 in Lebanon.

She was born May 17, 1923 in Lone, Ark. to Roy Bland and Mildred Slaughter McKenzie.

On March 24, 1945, she married Ross F. Page, who preceded her in death on Oct. 14, 1999.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Janis Hirsch, and one brother, Everett LaRoy "Mickey'' McKenzie.

She worked at City Hall, Montgomery Motors, and Laclede County Mental Health. She also served on the board of directors at Pathways Community Healthcare. She was a published writer. She wrote poetry, short stories, book reviews and wrote a column "Reflections From The Wrong Side of 70'' for the Senior Living newspaper published by The Lebanon Daily Record.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lebanon.

Survivors include a daughter, Pam Cornelius and her husband, Dale; three grandchildren, Derek F. Cornelius, Olivia Hirsch, and Loriann Cornelius, also other relatives, and many dear friends.

Funeral services for Roberta A. Page will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at Shadel's Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Bob Howard officiating.

Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel's Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Shadel's
Colonial Chapel.

Memorials have been suggested to the American Cancer Society or First United Methodist Church and donations can be left at Shadel's Colonial Chapel.
