Aleph Marlene Lee Aldridge, 76, wife of Carl Aldridge of Waycross died Thursday night (March 7, 2013) at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Brantley County to the late Raymond T. Lee, Sr. and Dollie Medlin Lee Courson and lived most of her life in Waycross. Mrs. Aldridge was retired from Swisher International after 46 years of service. She attended Second Baptist Church. Mrs. Aldridge had a servant's heart; she always enjoyed cooking cakes and serving her family and friends. She also enjoyed working in the yard and feeding the hummingbirds.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Eldridge Lee.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Carl Aldridge of Waycross; three brothers, R.T. Lee, Jr. of Waycross, George Lee of Hoboken, Glynn Lee and his wife Anne of Hoboken; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Thomas Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
