VAN BUREN – Georgette O. King, 73, passed away March 7, 2013. She was born Aug. 17, 1939, in Edmundston, New Brunswick, a daughter of Firmin and Lydia (Lagacé) Bouchard.

She was the wife of Donald J. King Sr. She is survived by one son, Donald A. King Jr. and his wife, Charlene, of Saint-Léonard, New Brunswick; her sisters, Anne Pelletier and her husband, André, of Edmundston, New Brunswick, Lucienne Levesque of Edmundston, New Brunswick, Simone Bouchard of Madawaska and Bernadette Pelletier of Edmundston, New Brunswick; her brother, Pio Bouchard of Montreal; three grandchildren, Erika, Sheena and Vanessa; one great-grandson, Jérémy; many in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by eight sisters, Marie, Yvette, Noëlla, Jeanne, Cécile, Antoinette, Germaine and Raymonde; and three brothers, Lucien, Antoine and Maurice.

Spring interment will be at Grande Riviere Cemetery. (Bangor Daily News 3/9/2013)
