Isabel Flaherty, 96, 526 Rose Street, Kewaunee, died Wednesday, March 31, 1993 at the Kewaunee Health Care Center.
Isabel was born November 17, 1896 at Kewaunee to the late George and Barbara (née Oberhofer) Flaherty. She worked for 40 years for the Illinois Bell Telephone Co. at Chicago. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church and Rosary Society and a lifelong member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She also enjoyed traveling throughout the world.
She is survived by two sisters; Natalie Cravillion, New London, Marjorie Kohlbeck, Algoma; one brother, William, Kewaunee.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at Buchanan Funeral Home. Wake Service 8 p.m. Friday. Funeral 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Church. Burial in the parish cemetery.
