Miss Claire L. Foley, age 84, of the Felician Village, 1700 S. 18th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning, August 12, 1997, at her residence. Funeral Services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 1997, at St. Mary's Home Chapel, with cremation following the mass and entombment of the cremains to be at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
She was born March 4, 1913, in Dorchester, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Dr. Francis "Frank" and Kathryn (née Victory) Foley. She graduated from Dorchester High School and continued her education receiving her Registered Nursing Degree from St. Agnes School of Nursing, Fond du Lac, then going on to graduate work at Loyola University, New Orleans, Louisiana. Claire was a nursing supervisor at Charity Hospital in New Orleans for 30 years from where she retired. After retiring she moved to Manitowoc where she has resided since.
Survivors include one sister, Miss Constance Foley, Manitowoc; other relatives and friends survive.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
