MARION T. FRELICH
Marion T. Frelich, age 92, formerly of 1464 N. Rapids Road, Manitowoc, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center where she resided for the past four years. Funeral services will be held at at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. Entombment will follow at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum.
Marion was born April 26, 1912, in Kellnersville, daughter of the late Edward and Theresa (née Sleger) Ledvina. She attended St. Joseph Grade School in Kellnersville. The family moved to Maribel and she worked as a dental assistant and later as a secretary for the Maribel Lumber Company.
On Aug. 29, 1929, she was married to Adolph B. Frelich at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. The couple farmed in the town of Cooperstown until 1960 when they moved to Manitowoc. Adolph preceded her in death on Aug. 9, 1997. Marion provided childcare in her home in Manitowoc for many years. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Joseph Rosary Society.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Gwyneth (Raymond) Hronek of Manitowoc; one grandson: Randall Hronek of Manitowoc; two granddaughters and their husbands: Joy and Anthony Chasensky of St. Paul, Minn.; Jill Hronek and Steve Grant of Chicago, Ill.; three great-grandchildren: Alayna Hronek of Manitowoc; Brian and Hallie Chasensky of St. Paul, Minn.; one sister: Grace Quinlan of Green Bay; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters: Elinore Steinbrecker, Leona Herold and Lillian Hamernik; three brothers: Edward, Clarence and Leonard Ledvina.
