Death of Friedrich Meinke of old age on 14 Sept. in the home of his stepson,
John Bahls. Mr. Meinke was born 30 Nov. 1803 in Falkenhagen, Pomerania. He
came to America in 1857 accompanied by his wife, who died 8 yrs. ago, and
with the above named stepson. He lived with his stepson ever since. Burial
was last Sat. in the Saxenburg Cemetery.
