Darrell Ray Embry, 69, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 in Lebanon.

He was born Sept. 4, 1943 in Lebanon, Mo. to Arthur Ray and Hazel Waugh Embry, who preceded him in death.

He also was preceded in death by a brother, Darius Embry.

In April 1963 he married Patty Stokes.

He was a sales clerk in the lawn and garden department at Walmart.

Survivors include his wife, Patty, of the home; a son, Tony Embry, of Lebanon; a brother, Doyle Embry, of Stockton; a granddaughter, Samantha Embry, of Lebanon; an uncle, Ray Waugh and his wife, Dolly, of Lebanon, also several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial for Darrell Ray Embry will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at Eureka Cemetery, near Rader, with David Douglas and Gerald Klaus officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Shadel's Colonial Chapel.

A memorial has been established in memory of Darrell Embry and donations can be left at Shadel's Colonial Chapel.
