ARLEEN ANNA (KUDICK) GAEDTKE
Arleen Anna (Kudick) Gaedtke, 91, Maribel, passed away peacefully, with her family at her side, on Monday, June, 15, 2009, at Rivers Bend Health and Rehab, Manitowoc.
She was born in the Town of Montpelier on January 9, 1918, to the late John and Amanda (Boettcher) Kudick. On June 27, 1936, Arleen married Paul Gaedtke at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Montpelier. Paul passed away December 6, 1960. Arleen farmed with her husband, Paul, for much of her life in Maribel and Branch, retiring in 1973. She was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church (WELS), Maribel. She enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Arleen is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul; a sister, Elda (Arno) Kiel; 5 brothers, Elmer (Lillian) Kudick, Elroy (Mary) Kudick, Ornie Kudick, Leonard Kudick, and John (Florence) Kudick; a son-in-law, Frederick Duprey; brother-in-law: Reinhart (Adeline) Gaedtke; a sister-in-law, Elfrida (Herbert) Pautz; and a step brother-in-law, Everette Vanderkinter.
Family and friends may call at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 14211 S. Maribel Rd., Maribel, on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, from 9:00 until 10:45 a.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the church on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Robert Johannes officiating. Entombment at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum. Cotter Funeral Home, 863-2411, is assisting the family.
